BIOGRAPHY

Remo Kuhlmann is an active composer for film and TV since 2022. His music has been described as insistent, deep emotional and powerful. As a composer his goal is to tell a musical story where he makes use of strong melodic themes when needed. He tries to give every film score its own character with sophisticated music and created sounds.

Remo created film scores for several short films like "Stiletto" (2023) which was selected for the Dutch Film Festival, "Coffee House" (2023) and the documentary "De Weg naar de Special Olympics" (2023) for a Dutch public broadcaster (NTR). He won the award for best original musical score in 2022 during a 48 hour film project in The Netherlands.

Besides being a film composer, Remo is active as a guitar player in the Dutch progressive rock band "Schizoid Lloyd". For their critically acclaimed debut album in 2014, he composed, and recorded music for strings quartet and choir.
